John Ansems passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Chartwell Parkhill, June 28, 2019, in his 89th year. Loving husband of 60 years to the late Ria Ansems (2017). Proud father of Anneke and Frank Wall, Connie and Vince Mullins, Deb and Jim Morley, and Dennis and Donna Ansems. Cherished Grandfather “Pop” to Jason (Christina), Ryan (Jenn), Emily (Kelly), Jonathon (Tory), Laura, Andrea, Anna, Greg, and Vincent. Great-grandfather to Marha, Lincoln, Hunter, Lucy, and Ranger.
John spent his working years building homes in Parkhill and Grand Bend, including his home in Southcott Pines. He loved to fish, watch his grandchildren play sports, and was always eager to help and lend a helping hand to his family. Pop was always there, whether you needed a treehouse, home repairs, or a pre-game pep talk; he was always the first to arrive and one of the proudest fans in the crowd.
