Ripley, Lavinia “Annie” (Stewart) – 97 of Truro, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2019 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Adelaine (McGinnis) Stewart. Annie spent many years taking care of her family and was a member of the Truro Congregation of Kingdom Hall. She held a special place in her heart for animals, but was especially fond of cats and horses. Annie is survived by her niece, Charlene Palmer (Garth), nephews, John Stewart (Gina) and Ben Stewart; sister-in-law, Kaye Stewart and long-time family friends, Frank and Peggy Stewart. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, William Dawson Ripley and brothers, Donald and Alex Stewart. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11a.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Mr. David Spence officiating. Reception to follow. Interment will take place in Mahon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie’s memory may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
