Doyle, Thomas Francis: (May 27, 1953 – April 28, 2019): In the presence of his family, Thomas Francis Doyle of Avondale passed peacefully away at St. Clares Mercy Hospital in the arms of his loving wife at the age of 65 years. Predeceased by his father Augustus Doyle, brother Gordon, sister Pauline, mother & father in-law Johanna & William Poole & brother in-law Patrick Power. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are his soul mate, best friend & wife Iris of 44 years, daughters: Lorri Balan (Ben), Jillian & their special “daughter” Michelle Day, cherished grandchildren: Aidan, Issac, Ella & Anna who he adored with his whole heart & who brought him so much joy, beloved mother Joanna, sisters: Muriel (David), Rose (Pat), Brenda (Melvin) & Joanne (Craig), brothers: Eugene (Bernice), Bill (Wanda), Gus (Cheryl) & Kevin (Dana), sister in-laws: Bridget, Patricia, Marilyn, Jean (Randy), Sharon (Dave), brothers in-law: Edward, Wayne (Theresa) & Tom (Sylvia), numerous nieces nephews and a large circle of other relatives & friends. Tom was a man of great integrity & kindness & that was demonstrated by how he lived his life. He was a devoted husband, loving father & proud grandfather. Tom also held a special place for his son in-law Ben, they shared a special bond that will be forever cherished. He will be deeply missed by so many people & we will celebrate the memories we have & the joy he brought to our lives. At Tom ’s request cremation has taken place. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 2 pm – 4 pm & 6 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place at Assumption Church, Avondale on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10:30 am. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Tom was an avid gardener.
