Esther ‘Astre Odlo’ passed away early in the morning on May 22, 2019 at the age of 94, in Kelowna BC. She was born December 3, 1924 in Minneapolis Minnesota to Hans and Stena Sorenson, she was two years old when they moved to Canada and settled in Peoria, AB. She married Albert Scott and they lived in Belloy, AB until retiring in Kelowna, BC where they built their dream home in Casaloma. She liked to have fun golfing, traveling, and getting together with friends and family. Hiking was a Mother’s Day tradition for many years. She moved to the Okanagan Chateau Retirement Residence after Albert passed away in 2007, where she enjoyed meeting people, and all the activities. The last few years she lived at the Lake Country Lodge and then Glenmore Lodge where she passed away. She will be remembered for her wonderful outgoing good-natured personality.
She was predeceased by her brother Arne. Survived by her Sister Martha; her children Varley, Gordon & Sharon; her grandchildren Elvin, Holly, Angela, Courtney & Nicole; her great grandchildren; Tristen, Zoe, Erin & Greyson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
