Rudolph Gabriel Weber
November 05, 1937 – May 14, 2019
Rudy was born in Scott, Saskatchewan on November 5,1937. He made the “big move” to Wilkie at a young age where he attended school. When he was a young boy who loved to play hockey, baseball, and was even a lightweight champion boxer. Grandma told us he has was quite the prankster and one particular story came to her mind. Rudy would hide in the trees with his buddies, with a wallet attached to a string. While waiting for someone to snag the wallet, they would then pull the string, and run into the trees never to be found.
Rudy was working on the railroad when he met our dear grandmother, Agatha, at a young age through some friends and was beyond smitten. He always looked at our grandma with such respect and so much love. Rudy and Agatha got married on May 18TH, 1959, exactly 60 years ago today, and they have raised an amazing family and friend group since.
After starting a family Rudy moved on from the railroad and began working at Royalite Garage as a mechanic. He then moved to Victory Motors for a few years and then finished his career at Western Autobody where he retired in the summer of the year 2000. We all know grandpa never quit working and was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family anytime.
