Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with his loving family by his side, Roy went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of Theresa (nee McParlan) for over 63 years. Devoted father of Gerard (Susan), Marlowe, Wayne, Bradley (Rosanne), Carolyn (Chris) and Tania (Cameron). Cherished grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 7. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Edna (nee Dowdall), and by his siblings Earl, Harold, Willy and Ruth.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., W., Perth on Sunday, May 12, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John’s Church, Perth on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Stanleyville. In remembrance of Roy, contributions to St. Bridget’s Church, Stanleyville would be appreciated by the family.
