Obituary for
Robert James Belanger
Passed away peacefully on the 16th of May, 2019, at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Jo-Anne (Guilbault). Loving father Christian (Amanda), Stéphane and André-Michel (Kylie).
Also leaves behind his brother Michel Bélanger (Nicole), and sister Joanne Henry (Gerry); three cherished grandchildren: Jacob, Eve and Gabrielle, as well as their mother Natasha Larose; and his lifelong friend Guy Cyr (Lucie). Will be greatly missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents Jean-Guy Bélanger and Dolores (Hultquist); his brother Gilles Bélanger and sister Lynne Millar.
Many thanks to Doctors Goodwin and Watters, the staff at the Cancer Treatment Centre (General Campus), and nurses Jackie, Heather and Lucille. The family thanks them all for their hope, their help and their invaluable guidance in the last year.
Friends are invited to visit at the St-Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa, on Friday, May 24th from 5pm to 8pm and on Saturday, May 25th from 10am until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11am.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
