Passed peacefully away in the presence of family, on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, Phoebe Jane Head, age 85 years.
Phoebe leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her brothers, Wilfred, (Ivy), Lindsey (Pearl), Gerald (Juanita), Cyril (Eileen); sisters, Leah, Lorraine, Marie & Mavis (Robin); sisters-in-law, Elizabeth, Olive & Hilda Lewis, Priscilla Oake, Ruby & Kathleen Head. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Phoebe is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Head; parents, William & Rebecca Lewis; brothers, Andrew, Samuel & Simon.
Public visitation will take place at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main St. Lewisporte on Tuesday, May 28th from 2 – 4 PM and at Faith United Church, Campbellton from 7 – 9 PM.
Funeral service will take place at Faith United Church on Wednesday, May 29th at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Bethel United Cemetery, Comfort Cove-Newstead.
As expression of sympathy, donations to Bethel United Cemetery Fund and/or Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center would be greatly appreciated.
