Regier, Michael – Passed away at LHSC Victoria Hospital in London after a brief battle with cancer, on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Born in Seaforth, Michael Floyd Regier of Egmondville was 59 years old.
Loving and devoted son of Marie Regier (née O’Gorman) of Egmondville and the late Alvin Regier (2011). Dear brother of Karen Regier of Egmondville and Lynn Regier of London. Also survived by his uncle Leonard O’Gorman (Theresa Kelly) of Val-d’Or, Quebec, his aunt Ella Regier of Edmonton, as well as his cousins Pat, Penny (Mickey), Paul (Lise), Peter, Terry, Ron, Barb (Hans), Lois (Rolly), Gayle, and Tessie (John). Mike will also be missed by his long-time friends, the staff of Intermodal, and his golfing community, the Seaforth Golf & Country Club.
Predeceased by his aunts and uncles, Dorene (Norman) Smith, Joseph Regier, Georgette O’Gorman, and by his cousin Glenn O’Gorman.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 (Mike’s 60th birthday) at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156, from 1-3 p.m. with words of remembrance shared at 2 p.m. Private interment will be held prior to the service at St. James Catholic Cemetery, Seaforth. Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156 Poppy Fund, The War Amps, the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation, or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
