McCARTHY, Mary “Molly” Peacefully at The Bridge Hospice, Warkworth on Thursday, May 23, 2019, her 94th birthday. Molly McCarthy, daughter of the late Frank Ashworth and the late Hanora (Veale). Beloved wife of the late Vincent “Harold” McCarthy. Loving mother of Lynn Lancaster of Calgary, Alberta, Diane and her husband Lou Rinaldi of Brighton, Jacqueline Paskewich of Markham, David McCarthy and his wife Mei Ling of Scarborough, and Christine McCarthy of Toronto. Predeceased by her son-in-law Edward Paskewich, and her brothers, David and Leonard Ashworth. Sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Brighton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton (613-475-2121) on Sunday, May 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 40 Centre St. Brighton on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 1 o’clock.
