MARY HIEBERT
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Hiebert. She passed away suddenly on April 17, 2019 at the age of 88 years.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband David; children, Barbara Dueck; Colleen Loewen (George); Mary Jane Hiebert (Wayne Bell) ; Ellen Hiebert (Murray Penner); grandchildren, Michael Dueck (Nina), Ryan Dueck (Megan), Meagan (Kyle) Friesen, Kaite Desrosiers, Dillon Loewen (Natassia), Daegan Penner; great-grandchildren, Madison, Wesley and Matthew Dueck, Lorelai and Gideon Desrosiers; sister Sarah Thiessen; sister-in-law Erna (Ben) Thiessen; brother-in-law Jacob Hiebert; and many more family and friends.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Jakob and Sarah Wiebe; brothers, Jacob Wiebe and Henry Wiebe; and one sister Helen Martens; as well as her son-in-law Dietmar Dueck.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mokate and the nurses at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. Their deep compassion and heart felt care of our mother, and the family surrounding her in her last moments, will never be forgotten.
The funeral service for Mary Hiebert will be held at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Avenue, Steinbach, MB on Thursday, April 25, at 2:00 p.m. Viewing prior to the service.
The interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s memory to a charity of your choice.
