McPHERSON, MARGERY ELLEN –
Peacefully entered into rest on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at the Belleville General Hospital. Margery McPherson (nee Cook) of Eden Place, Belleville, formerly of Cannifton died at the age of 94. She was the daughter of the late Leslie & Margaret Cook (nee Osborne) and wife of the late Robert McPherson. Margery was the loving mother of Marguerite Goodman (late Earl) of Whitby and Marie Richards (Doug) of Foxboro. She was the caring grandmother of Karen, Cheryl, Tracey, Robert McConnell and predeceased by Teresa Richards; great grandmother of Dalton, Ryan, Holly, Matthew, Kyle and Cody and great-great grandmother of Kayia and Keauden. Margery is predeceased by her brothers George Cook, Charlie Cook and her sister Alice Stone. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McPherson is resting at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) for visitation on Wednesday, May 22nd and Thursday, May 23rd from 2:00 till 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 till 9:00 p.m. L.O.B.A. #351 Cobourg Service on Thursday evening at 6:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 24th, 2019 at 11 a.m. from Emmanuel United Church, Foxboro. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Corbyville. If desired, donations to Emmanuel United Church, Foxboro would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at: www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
