Loretta’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Loretta Major nee Maynard announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, May 19th, 2019 at the age of 73 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Paul, Jim (Leona), Brenda, Cory (Brenda), and Ashley (Michelle), 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her siblings; Fred Maynard (Helen), Mercedes Maynard (Harry), Gordon Maynard (Sandra), and Della Toope, Loretta was predeceased by her Husband; Jim Major, son; Dwayne Major, daughter; Paulette Maynard, her parents; Elizabeth and Stanley Maynard, and her brother; Victor Maynard, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and friends.
The Family will be receiving family and friends at the Church of The Good Shepherd, in Norris Pt, NL, on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and continuing on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 at 2:00 pm, with Deacon Wilimana Green officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery in Norris Pt, NL.
