Larry Vernon Murray, age 72, formerly of RR# 2 St. Marys, passed away peacefully at Seaforth Manor on May 24, 2019. Born in Stratford, son of the late Ralph and Thelma Murray.
Larry is survived by his children Rick Batten (Melissa), Lisa Seyler (Dan), Jeff Murray (Shawnna), Lori Murray-Mercer (Colin), Jason Murray (Heather), Jerry Murray (Tara) and Leanne Murray. Grandfather of Lillyanna, Ava, Kayleigh, Faye, Emily, Sarah, Heather, Rowan, Toby, Willow, Connor, Anderson, Adelaide, Isaac and Eli great grandfather of Caleb. Brother of Betty Greenwood (Harry), Bill Murray (Carol), Gord Murray (Carol), Joan Rohfritsch and Linda Murray (Danny). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a brother-in-law George Rohfritsch and a sister-in-law Dianne Murray.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, May 28, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with a reception to follow.
