LAYTON, Joseph Normand ‘Stormin’ Norman’ – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 14, 2019 at Hospice Niagara at the age of 75. Ex-husband and best friend of Yvette Power. Beloved father of Paula Cain and Paul Layton. Cherished grandfather of Joshua Hobdon, Christine LeBourque, Aaron Layton and Hannah Uzelac. Great-grandfather of Layla, Isaiah, Mia, Isaac, Ian and Julius. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Norman worked as a registered nurse for 32 years. After retirement he was dedicated to the mission field, working in clinics and feeding the hungry. He was loved by many friends and coworkers, and will be dearly missed. Special thank you to the staff of Hospice Niagara for their excellent care and compassion. Friends and family are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday from 9 to 11:30 am. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am at the funeral home.
