In Loving Memory
John Virus
1939-2019
With a heavy heart and great sadness, our family mourns the passing of our beloved Papa John. With his family by his side on Monday, April 29, 2019, Papa flew with the Angels to join the love of his life. He was our Dad, our Grandpa, our Great-Grandpa, our Brother, Uncle, and most of all, a friend to all of us. He was the strongest, most selfless man with the biggest heart. His hard work, strength and integrity had imparted valuable life lessons without his knowledge to all who had the privilege to know him just through the life he led. He was proud of all of us and each one held a special place in his heart, as he in ours. He will be missed and was loved by all.
John will be lovingly remembered by his children George (Kendall) Virus, Janet (Larry) Somerville, and Bill (Kris) Virus; grandchildren Lindsey (Mike), Jocelyn (Joe), Mark (Sarah), Leigh, Blayne (Kim), Amanda (Tyson), William, and Cindy; great-grandchildren Emma, Hanna, Kade, Riley, Zachary, Chloe, Taylor, Liam, Larson, Jakob; siblings Annie (Bob) Schofield, Andrew (Lynn) Virus, Michael (Ginette) Virus, Francis (Jacque) Beaupré, and Nicole Virus; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Besides his loving wife, Doreen, John was predeceased by his parents John Virus and Jeannette Duhamel; as well as siblings Joe Virus (Denise) and Elisabeth Virus.
As per John’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
Rest easy Papa.
