Helen’s Obituary
Helen Cousins was born on October 9, 1939 in Chelan, Saskatchewan to parents John and Maggie Greig. She passed away on Saturday April 27, 2019 in Fairview, Alberta at the age of 79 years.
Helen was a hair dresser for over 50 years before she retired. She was also an active member with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #1 in Calgary for over 40 years before moving to Fairview. She was a member of Tops for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Maggie Greig; 7 of 8 siblings; and her husband Harold Cousins.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Michelle (Michael) Connor, Guy (Christina) Kelley, Tara (Danielle) Clarke-Greig; sister Barbara Claxton; five grand children; three great grand children; and as well as numerous other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held from Chapel of Memories Funeral Chapel in Fairview on Thursday May 2 at 2:00 PM.
