Giovanni «John» Pizzuti
Peacefully on May 19, 2019, at the age of 85, with family by his side. Beloved husband of Agostina for 66 years. Loving father of Frank, Joe and wife Jackie, and predeceased by Tony (2018). Cherished Nonno of Stephanie (John), James, Susanne (Umair), Sarah, Heather, Rose, Miranda and Joey. Much loved Bis Nonno of Olivia, Adalina, Kyle and Ashley. Predeceased by his parents, Tomasso and Alessandra and his in-laws Antonio and Lucia Savoni. Dear brother of Mike and Bianca, Antonio and Maria, Vince and Nancy, Delia and Arcangelo and predeceased by Teresa (survived by Carlo). Brother-in-law of Angela (the late Lino) and Carmen. John will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
John immigrated to Canada in 1953, and in time, he brought his family to join him. John worked hard and was the proprietor of Pizzuti Drainage Service for 45 years. John was a founding member of the Ciociaro Club, and was also a member of The Caboto Club and Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council # 4386. John loved to play the accordion and was a founding member of the “Voce” Ciociare, and continued to sing for many years. John had many passions including his wine making, his gardens, making prosciutti, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

Visitation Thursday May 23, 2019 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Friday May 24, 2019, friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 4401 Mount Royal.
Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
