HICKEY, Georgina Holly, better known as Jean, with loved one’s around her passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Monday, May 13, 2019. She lived a long life passing away at the age of 85. Jean was the loving wife of sixty-six years of Thomas (Tom) Hickey (2018). Jean is survived by her four beloved children Michael (Deborah), Paul, Christopher (Andrea), and Kathleen (Mark) were the light of her life. Jean will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Matthew (Anick), Ryan (Rebecca), Sarah, Caitlin (Jordan), Laura, Caleb, and Josiah and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Patsy Taylor and Betty Livingston and by her brother-in-law Reg Livingston. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Jean had a long career in nursing and retired from Victoria Manor at the age of 65. Her visitation will be on Thursday, May 16th, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, at the Stoddart Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 24 Mill St., Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205). Jean will have a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11 AM, at St. Mary’s Church, Lindsay with a reception to follow afterwards. Interment of cremated remains will be held later at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Kinmount. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon at 2 P.M.
