RACKNOR, Dorothy Ellen- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mom, grandma and GG, on Saturday May 11th 2019 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital. Dorothy Racknor (nee Wright) of St. Pauls Ontario in her 91st year. She was born near Ridgetown, Ontario to John and Laura (nee Mallott) Wright. She lived many years in Ridgetown, Chatham, Aylmer, Woodstock and Embro. She loved her her family and friends, and old time music. Playing music, dancing and her love of travel were her passions and she was still going to jamborees and music concerts right to the end. Dorothy will be forever missed, but never forgotten, and was the loved mother of Deb (Gary), Mark (Judy), Diane (Max), Lillian, Connie and Jim. Loving grandmother of John (Kim), Jason (Deb), Jewell (Rob), Tanisha (James), William (Casey), Adam, Jacob, Shawn (Kelly), Mitchell (Stephanie), Sarah (Michael),and great grandmother of David, Lori, Sonja, Dylan, Justin, Kassandra, Kole, Ryan, Hailey, Ellis, Bradley, and Link. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey Racknor, brothers Earl, Ralph, Archie and grandson . Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday May 14th 2019 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday May 15th 2019 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday May 16th 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev.
