Obituary of Donna Moenig
Former teacher of The Ottawa Catholic School Board
(Notre Dame High School and St. Raymond’s Intermediate School)
Donna passed away suddenly on Friday, the 24th of May, at the age of 71. Loving mother to her son Christopher and daughter-in-law Stacy and cherished grandmother to her three precious grandchildren Easton, Grayson and Zoey. Predeceased by her father John, sorely missed by her mother Nina and her brother Gerry. She will be dearly missed by her friends and colleagues of Notre Dame High School and the former St. Raymond’s Intermediate School.
Donna was a gifted Math teacher, needle point artist and a true and compassionate friend, always there to offer support and a helping hand if needed. She was an excellent cook, had keen eye for fashion and an inquiring mind. She was a success at everything she put her mind to. Sincere thanks to the General Hospital and the Dialysis Unit for their care, compassion and comfort. To honor Donna, the family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a tea party, consistent with her last wishes in celebrating her life.
