Donna Bent
1938-2019
Donna Bent of Riverview passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019
at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of
the late Kenneth and Elsie (Moore) Craft.
Donna loved spending summers at the cottage at the Bluff with
family and close friends. She was a true sports enthusiast. She
especially enjoyed watching hockey & baseball, yet it was
watching her two sons and granddaughter play competitive sports that
brought her the greatest joy.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 59 years Allan,
sons; Kevin (Connie Spear) of Vancouver and Derek (Bev McKay) of
Riverview, grandchildren; Hudson, Landon and Ashley as well as several
nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a
brother, Douglas Craft of Saint John.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation
to the doctors and nurses of 5200 unit at The Moncton Hospital for the
care and compassion shown to Donna.
Honoring her wishes there will be no public visitation, a
private family service will take place at Cobb’s Funeral
Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (868-2007) at
a later date. The interment will take place this summer at St.
Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Belleisle, Nova Scotia.
Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada in memory of Donna would
be appreciated by the family.
