David Patrick Fenton passed away peacefully at Chinook Hospice on April 26, 2019 after a short illness. He is finally able to be reunited with his beloved wife Norma. When Norma died, a large piece of David went with her and he never fully recovered. It brings us comfort to believe they are together again.
David’s children are so thankful to Dr. Martin Davies and his office staff, especially Fatima, who were so kind and provided such compassionate care for many years to both David and Norma.
David was a character and deeply valued his autonomy. He worked part-time as a consultant until 85 years of age. The leadership team at Goldray Industries was like a second family to David and his family is so grateful for the gracious kindness they extended to him.
David is survived by his children, Susan (Stuart), Sandy, David (Jean) and Nancy (Don). He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gerard’s Church, 8944 Elbow Dr SW, Calgary, AB on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 10:30 AM. Reception to follow.
In honour of David, donations to his favourite charity Chalice www.chalice.ca (an organization who feeds children in developing countries) would be gratefully received.
