Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on May 18, 2019, age 83 years. Predeceased by his son Blaine, granddaughter Lisa, parents Minnie and Ewart, sisters Barbara, Cora and Alma. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Sadie, sons Robert (Elsie), Philip, daughters Rhonda and Joan(Allan), grandchildren Gary, Kerri, Tracy (Mike), Kayla (Cy), great-grandchildren Liam, Aiden, Fabien, and Joey, sisters Margaret (Roland), Nina (Michael), Elsie (Art), brothers Leo, Eric and Claude. Also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral service will take place from the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 11 am. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
