A resident of Chatham, Betty Jean Kerr passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the age of 86.
Loving wife of 54 years to the late Thomas Kerr (2009).
Loving mother to Karen and Dan Olech of Oakville, Jackie and Bob Riberdy of Windsor, Lisa Kerr of Chatham, & Christine and Bob Demers of Hamilton.
Dear sister of Bob Knights of Blenheim, Nancy and Stewart Wilkinson of London, & Pat and Bill Stewart of London.
Remembered by her brother-in-law, Jack and Colleen Kerr of London, & sister-in-law, Anne Foster and the late Al Rose of London.
Betty will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Betty retired from the Chatham Public Library after 20 of service (1997).
Family will receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Tuesday, May 21st , 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
Memorial donations to honour Betty’s life can be made to the St. Andrews Foundation or charity of choice and would be appreciated by the family.
