Alvin Henry Bryan
1934-2019
The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his loving
family, at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital,
O’Leary, on Monday, May 13, 2019, of Alvin Henry Bryan of
Foxley River. Dear husband of Norma (nee Reid) Bryan. He was the son
of the late Henry and Edith (nee Palmer) Bryan.
Beloved father of Dean (Judy) of Foxley River,
Kimberley Myers of Pleasant Grove, and Jill (Trevor Murphy)
of Huntley. Predeceased by an infant son. Cherished grandfather of
Nicole (Justin) Gorrill of Foxley River, Bradley (Mindy) Bryan of Port
Hill, and Matthew (Katelyn) Bryan of Bonshaw, and step-grandfather to
Sandra Williams and her daughter Reece of Poplar Grove. Special
Great-Grampy to Jaece and Tucker Gorrill.
He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-laws, Ruth (Alden)
Ryder, Doris (David) Holford, Daisy (Tom) Dwyer, Iris (Ted) Wagner,
Freda (late Walter) Adams, Nina (late Donald) Campbell, and
brothers-in-law, Douglas (Judy) Reid and Roy (late Jean) Bell. Also
survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours by personal request. Private
family service to be held at E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel,
Alberton,on Friday May 17,2019 at 2;00 p.m. Rev.Ann Bush officiating.
Private family interment to follow at St. Peter’s Anglican
Church, Foxley River.
Flowers grafefully declined.
In memory of Alvin, donations can be made to the St.
Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or to the Palliative
Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O’Leary.
