JEFFERY, Winnifred Etta – age 85 of the Meadow’s Home for Special Care passed away peacefully on April 16,2019 at the Meadows. Born in Yarmouth on May 16,1933 she was a daughter to the late Freeman and Effie (Brown) Nickerson. Winnifred was a homemaker all her life. Besides loving her family, she loved to garden, going to the malls, and shopping at Frenchy’s. She would never see her family go without, always being there with a helping hand and a heart of gold. She worshiped all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and did anything she could to help them. She always made sure she had lots of treats in the house for when the grandkids visited. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Kenneth Jeffery, Pleasant Lake, Yarmouth Co; daughters, Bonnie Jeffery, Pleasant Lake, Gail (Alfie) Doucette, Yarmouth, Cindy (Delbert) Clements, Pleasant Lake; grandchildren; Shannon Davis, Jeffery Davis, Jody Moulaison, Holly Clements, Konor Clements, Fern Nickerson; great grandchildren, Hayden, Landon, Reace, Owen and Zoey. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, Kelly Ann and great grandson, Drew Moulaison. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Thursday April 18, 2019 from 7-9 P.M. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held Friday April 19,2019 at 2 P.M. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.D. “Bill” Newell officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Plains Cemetery in Pleasant Lake. Donations in memory may be made to Highland Plains Cemetery, the Meadow’s Home for Special Care, or a charity of your choice.
