1951-2019
We, the family of Agnes
Virginia Hines, regret to announce her passing on Tuesday, April 2,
2019, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital,
Sydney.
Born September 30, 1951, in Neil’s Harbour, she was
the daughter of Mary Catherine (McGean) Brewer, Neil’s
Harbour and the late James Brewer.
Until retirement, Virginia was employed as a merchandiser for
Scotsburn.
She is survived by her husband, Stewart; daughter, Lyndsay
(Wally) Fischer, Fort Saskatchewan; son, Justin, Fort McMurray;
grandchildren, Kianna and Zachary; sisters, Alexis (Vern) Mossman,
Blockhouse, NS, Carmen (Ferguson) Mobbs, Ontario and Ruth Ann (Terry)
Muldoon, Trenton, Ont.
Besides her father, Virginia was predeceased by her brother,
Dennis.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held
at the United Protestant Church of Sydney River on Saturday, April 6
at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dana Feltmate officiating. Interment will take
place at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
Nova Scotia.
