Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the P.R.H.C. on Monday March 11, 2019. Velma Fawcett of Buckhorn in her 86th year. Loving wife of the late Jim Fawcett (2009). Cherished mother of Darlene Loucks (Rod), Terry (Debbie), all of Buckhorn, Deane (Crystal) of Victoria, B.C., and Dale (Cindy) of Bobcaygeon. Dear Grandma of Kelly, Sherri, Mark, Kristy, Tiffiny, Deana, Andrew, Cheree, Jordon, Amy and Josh and 18 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters-in-law Melva Curtis and Ruth Fawcett. Relatives and friends may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Sunday March 17, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday March 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment, Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst, in the spring. As an appropriate memorial to Velma, please perform an act of random kindness with others, as Velma herself loved to do.
