Obituary of Shirley Mae Volk
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shirley on February 26, 2019 at the age of 82 years in Indian Head, SK. Predeceased by her parents Nina Topal and John Storlee; loving husband Isidor; son Ron Baker; siblings an infant brother, Doreen, Gloria; stepdaughters Vivian, Linda; stepgrandsons Clinton, Jonathan and the father of Shirley’s children John Baker. Left to cherish her memory by her three daughters Pat (Richard) Flaman, Wendy (Paul) Meadowcroft and Cher (Bob) Bales; daughter in law Sandra McFarlen; stepchildren Diane, Kathy (Eugene), Gerry (Michael), Marianne (Daniel); grandchildren Jennifer (Mike), Jonathan (Nel), Derek (Brandi), Corey (Kezia), Melissa (Dusty), Kelsey (Dan), Taylor, Jada, Brandon; step grandchildren Connie (Tim), Terri-Lynn, Brandee (Chad), Albert, Anita, Tammy (Jody), Stacey (Dean), Cindy (Greg), Danielle (Jerod), Britteny (Kaine), Katie (Nolan), Dailen; great grandchildren Kaylee, Davin, Jaime, Avary, Rawlins; great step grandchildren Isaac, Jacob, Julie, Kyle, Chad, Brandon, Tory, Dimitri, Briannah, Hailey, Hannah, Austen, Ethan, Kolby, Conrad, Makayla, Kaelen, Brandon; great great step grandchild Hayden; sister Darlene; brother Marville (Sharon) and cousin Bonnie and many friends. A graveside memorial service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 E Assiniboine Ave., Regina SK on June 14, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with a Celebration of Life for 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. at Brooks Manor, 906 Otterloo St., Indian Head, SK. Mom loved color and blitz so in honour of her memory let’s all shine that day. Friends so wishing may make donations in Shirley’s memory to a charity of their choice.
