Ronald Ernest Dale, age 74, of RR# 5 Stratford, passed away peacefully at Huron Residential Hospice, Clinton on April 9, 2019. Born in Stratford, son of the late Wilson (Red) Dale and the former Gladys McKay.
Beloved husband of Diane (Storey). Loving father of Tammy Wilhelm (Bryan) and Ron Dale (Jeanette). Grandfather of Connor, Daniel and Sarah Wilhelm, Megan, Natalie and Lyndsey Dale. Brother of Wayne, Paul (Lorraine), Mike (Sandie). Also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ken Peck, Linda Fleming (Kevin), Joan Soper (Don), step mother-in-law Jean Storey (Charlie Romphf) and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Diane Peck and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Lloyd and Myrel Storey.
Family was first in Ron’s life, followed by going to garage sales. He was known to be able to fix anything.
Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, April 12, from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a reception.
