Marion Grace Lauder
LAUDER, Marion Grace – Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Niagara Long Term Care Residence on Easter Sunday April 21, 2019 in her 99th year. The loving daughter of the late Hope and Maud Rose and sister of the late Gordon (Gladys) Rose. Beloved mother of Douglas (Rae) Lauder, Mark (Martha) Lauder and Jane (Dana) Pushie. Caring grand mother of four and great-grandmother of eight. Marion leaves behind several cousins and long-time friends.
Graduating from Hamilton Normal School in 1942, Marion enjoyed working for Niagara District School Board for over 40 years until her retirement. She was a life-long member of Stamford Lane United Church since its opening. Marion was an active member of the church in all phases and was the first president of the U.C.W. and also a life time trustee of the church.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Chartwell Niagara Long Term Care Residence for the excellent care and friendship Marion received over the years.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., on Friday from 10 to 11 am followed by a funeral service to celebrate the life of Marion at the funeral home at 11 am. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Stamford Lane United Church.
