Logan Christopher Matchett
2002 – 2019
It is with heavy hearts the family of Logan Christopher Matchett announce his passing on Sunday, April 21, 2019.
Logan will be dearly missed by his parents, Chris and Debbie Matchett, and his little brother Ty of Strathadam.
Logan was a grade 11 student at North and South Esk Regional High School where he was an avid athlete, excelling in Hockey, Volleyball and Soccer.
His sportsmanship and kind ways were known to all.
He was instrumental in securing the Provincial Title for NSER Cobras Hockey team.
Logan was a true outdoorsman, loving to camp, hunt and fish.
One of his favourite spots was the Upper Place.
Logan had the most beautiful smile and was extremely caring and friendly.
He was always quick to start a conversation and was very outgoing.
Logan was truly an amazing young man whose love for his family and friends knew no bounds.

His grandparent, Agnes and Reggie Trevors of Miramichi and Carmel Matchett of Sunny Corner.
His aunts:
Anna Leigh Sherrard (Sterling), Kim Foran (Phillip), Sandy Hamel (Kevin) all of Alberta. Natasha Murray (Jeff Elliot) of Manitoba.
His Uncles:
Randy Trevors (Edie), Kiley Mcallister (Jackie) of Alberta.
Jeffery Matchett (Kathy), Richard Matchett (Tanya), of Sunny Corner
Matthew Matchett (Janice) of Whitney.

Logan is also survived by special friend: Brooke Barrieau.
Logan was predeceased by his Grandfather Ronald Matchett, and his great grandmothers, Kathleen Matchett and Veronica McAllister.
Visitation will be held at the Sunny Corner Arena, 32 Northwest Road., Sunny Corner, NB, on Thursday, April 25th, 2019, from 7-9 PM and again on Friday, April 26th, 2019, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Funeral service will be held at the Sunny Corner Arena, 32 Northwest Road, Sunny Corner, NB, on Saturday, April 27th, 2019, at 11 AM with Father Dan Melanson and Reverend Charlene Maguire-MacKnight officiating.
Burial will take place in Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Red Bank, NB, at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, in Logan’s memory, donations may be made to the NSER High School.
