Obituary of Kathy Smith
SMITH (Ecker), Kathy – After a 2 year battle with cancer, Kathy passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the age of 47. Beloved wife and best friend of Jim for 22 years. Loving companion of her fourlegged boy Drake. Loving mother of Ashley Beauchesne (Billy), Alberta. Special “K” to Stella and Cyrus. Dear daughter of Marg (late Don) Ecker, Sarnia. Sister of John Ecker, Toronto and the late Paul Ecker. Kathy was born and raised in Sarnia before she and Jim moved to Port Franks in 2005. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced. Arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
