Obituary of June Steacy-Irish
STEACY-IRISH (nee REILLY), Iva “June” ~ of Belleville, entered into rest peacefully on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019, at Trent Valley Lodge Nursing Home, in her 89th year. Dear daughter of the late Lendrum P. Reilly & the late Annie Eliza (nee Adams). Beloved wife of the late Donald Charles Irish (2004) and the late Albert Henry Steacy (2018). Cherished mother of Graydon Irish (Barbara), Douglas Irish (Penny), Maureen Powell (Chris), Bryon Irish (Cynthia), Allan Irish (Ruth) and Elizabeth Graves (Timothy). Dear step mother of Jeffrey Steacy (Linda), Terry Steacy (Erma) and Laurie Coburn (Neil). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donald Reilly (Opal) and Rev. Gloria Anne Steacy (Rev. Murray). Predeceased by brother Murray Reilly (1950). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613-968-2273), on Thursday, May 2nd, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 3rd, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Ross Harrington officiating, assisted by June’s sister Rev. Gloria Steacy and June’s brother-in-law; Rev. Murray Steacy. Interment Stockdale Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Belleville General Hospital ~ Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
