It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John at the age of 82.
He will be loving remembered by his spouse Shirley of 60 years, his children Wendy (Gord), Karen (Ken), Kim (Greg), and John (Michelle). He was also a very proud grandfather to Jennifer, Brett, Ryley and Tyler.
John will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a kind, caring and cheerful person.
We will honour John’s request for no funeral. Immediate family will gather for a remembrance in a place where he found joy, and then share his favorite meal (breakfast).
In memory of John, a donation may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Greater Edmonton Poppy Fund.
