James Sabean
1957-2019
It is with great sadness that the family of James William
Sabean announces his passing which occurred on Friday, April 12, 2019
at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on
January 31, 1957, he was the son of the late James Sabean Sr and Lena
(Little) Totten.
James is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Aleta Sabean
(Garland); son Jason Sabean (Ashley) of Saint John, NB; daughters:
Lori Patriquen (Nathan) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, and Angie Sabean
(Lloyd) of Rothesay, NB; grandchildren: Emma, Jacob, Chelsea, Ashley,
Chevy, Riley, Brady, Tahlia and Tate; sisters: Joselyn (Jim) Totten of
Salisbury, NB, Jeannie (Doug) Petterson of Barnesville, NB, and Linda
Sherwood of Upham, NB; brothers: Johnny (Lynn) Sabean of Saint John,
NB, and Dave (Cathy) Sabean of Saint John, NB; sister-in-law Debera
Sabean of Barnesville, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his brother Stephen
Sabean in 2018.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home
(506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will
be held on Tuesday, April 16 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. The funeral
service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, at 2:00pm from
Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at
Barnesville Presbyterian Cemetery.
Donations in memory of James may be made to the Living Memorial or to
