Obituary for
Francis «Frank» Paul Thibault
On April 14, 2019 Mr. Frank Thibault of Mayerthorpe, AB, passed away at the age of 69 years.
Frank leaves a lifetime of incredibly happy, cherished and caring memories in the hearts of his wife of 44 years, Margaret; son, Tony “TJ”; daughter, Sheylan (Bruce); and the delights of Frank’s life, grandsons, Bryden, Everett, and Lucas; brothers, Denis (Elaine), Robert (Pauline), Paul (Karen); sisters, Lyse (Gabriel), Rachelle (Mike), Carmen (Dan), and Ginette; and he also leaves to mourn his second family; brothers-in-law, John (Sandy) and Brian; and sisters-in-law, Jean (Robert), Leona and Nancy (Greg). Predeceased by parents, James and Juliette; parents-in-law, George and Agnes; niece, Tanya; brother-in-law, Don; and sisters-in-law, Betty and Perle.
Frank had a deep, unwavering love for his family and friends. His favourite places in the world were the cabin, and anywhere his grandsons were. He was a hard worker with a tough exterior and a soft heart. He had a zest for life, and a love of the outdoors. Frank was always looking ahead to fulfill new dreams, or a new adventure to share with “Papa’s boys”. He had an amazing sense of humour, and was always ready with a great story, a “dad joke” or “useless” piece of information. Though Frank may be gone, his memories live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
Celebration of Life Monday, April 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Mayerthorpe Diamond Centre, 4814 – 54 Street. Reverend Ruth Lotholz officiating. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Mayerthorpe Fallen Four Memorial Society, Box 3700, Mayerthorpe, AB T0E 1N0.
