SLOCKI, Donna Louise (nee Hoffman)
Passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 26, 2019 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Morris for 39 years. Cherished mother of Marie Sharpe (Tim), Greg Allen, Brian Allen, Tammy Cross (Tony), Michael Slocki (Laura), Andrew Slocki (Laura), Adam Slocki (Courtney). Much loved grandmother of 11 grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents William Jr. and Nina Hoffman and by her brother Robert Hoffman. Donna enjoyed working as a bartender at the Grimsby Curling Club for 31 years. She loved large family get-togethers and hosting special occasions. She also enjoyed spending her summers by the lake with her family and friends. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
