Obituary of DINO RAYMOND CHARLES MORAN
Dino Moran
(December 15, 1970 – April 21, 2019)
Suddenly, but with his family by his side, Dino passed away. In shock and heart wrenching sadness we sit outside in the glorious sunshine to write these words. On a day when Dino would have loved to have been on his treasured BMW motorcycle cruising down the highway, any highway, just going anywhere and nowhere in particular all at the same time.
Although he did love that bike, what he treasured most of all was his family, most importantly his children. They were his joy and the source of infinite pride, the reason he always tried to do what was right, to be an example to them on how to live and how to love. To know his kids is to know that he did that job exceptionally well.
He was hardworking and always willing to lend a hand whenever needed and always took pride in the work that he did. That was clearly evident in the work that he did during his many years at Winakwa Community Centre and that community will surely miss him. Through his work there he touched the lives of so many, both on a personal and professional level and his caring and giving nature was a gift that he shared with so many more in his personal life as well.
Dino was predeceased by his grandparents Laura and Charles Moran and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Art and Violet Doberstein. He is survived by his wife Lisa, children Nathan (Ania), Natasha (Anthony), Kalvin, Jenna (Ren). Also, by his parents Terry (Sylvie), Lorraine (Larry) and Larry’s son Alex, his brother Cory (Candace), nieces Brianna and Kendra and numerous cousins, his special Aunt Barb and Uncle Kenny. Dino is also survived by his brother-in-law Wade (Maureen), Sister-in-law Donna (Ken), nephews Kyle (Rachel), Blair, Jeff (Gina) and Randy (Kristen).
Although we are all struggling with this loss, we have all been blessed to have been a part of his life. We can only hope that in time the memories he created will be remembered with fewer tears in our eyes and more smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at Winakwa Community Centre, 980 Winakwa Rd Saturday April 27 at 11:00 a.m.
