It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Clarence Joseph Boudreau, our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend on Thurdsay April 4th at the QE11 hospital in Halifax. Clarence found out early in life how much he loved the sea while fishing and making memories with his father. He then went on to work for Michelin Tire where he spent the next 28 years. After retiring from Michelin he went back to what he loved the most, lobster and crab fishing. He also worked part-time for Mattie’s Construction in Monastery. Clarence was a devoted husband and loved nothing more then spending quality time with his son Nathan. He was a former fire fighter with the Tracadie and District Volunteer Fire Department. He was always there to lend a helping hand. Clarence loved the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, four wheeling, snowmobiling and boating with friends especially Cheryl tucked closely by his side. His love for music was outstanding and he could be found on any given weekend singing and playing guitars with his family and friends. He was well known for sitting around his fire pit after a long fun filled day of washer toss. He will be remembered for his quick-wittedness, the sparkle in his eye and his mischievous little grin. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Cheryl (Mattie), Son Nathan (Debbie), Mother Mary Ann Boudreau East Tracadie, Brother Kenneth (Lori) East Tracadie, Sister Carla Bate (Jamie) Pictou, Sister In-law Michelle Macdonald Port Hawksbury, Mother and Father in-law, Sharon and Mark Mattie. Brother In-laws Matthew (Kathy) Calgary and Justin (Katie) Berwick. Many Nephews and Nieces, Aunts and Uncles. Predeceased – Father Clarence Boudreau, Brother Glen Macdonald and Grandparents Ernest and Grace Cotie, John and Ella Boudreau all from East Tracadie. There is no visitation by request. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11am from St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Tracadie, with Father John Barry officiating. Burial at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made to a Charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Green’s Funeral Home, 507 Bernard St. Port Hawkesbury.
