Obituary for Robert Douglas Wilson
ROBERT D. WILSON (1944 – 2019)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Wilson on Sunday, March 17, peacefully and surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife Anne, brother John (Karen), children Michael and Julie (Xavier), and his granddaughter Justine, along with family and friends.
Bob grew up in Fergus, ON, son of Eva and J.D. Wilson. He graduated from U of T (Knox College residence), and Osgoode Hall Law School. He practised civil litigation law at Bassel Sullivan for many years, followed by 16 years at LawPro until his retirement. Bob loved hockey and was an avid fan, player and dedicated coach, helping to train numerous young players in North Toronto over the years. Bob was a sports enthusiast, an avid reader and enjoyed listening to jazz music.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Vaughan Estate, Estates of Sunnybrook, 80 Armistice Drive, Toronto, ON.
