Dad was born in Fenlon Falls to Jean and Lloyd Thornback and to his beloved Grandfather William & Gran Margaret Archer brother to Shirley, Kay , Barb and Debbie .
Loved by his wife of over 60 years Diane Thornback , loved by his four children Tammy , Danny ,Rusty and William, a proud Grandfather ( & Pepaw) to Justin,Josh Katey, Dean,Alexandra and Daniel , Liam, Gabriel and Darren.

Loved Balsam lake and grew up on the water spending his time at camp kagawong and grew up adoring his Grandfather will and his Gran and his mom and his family , he was an avid swimmer played JR hockey and also
SERVED with the Royal Canadian Navy .He also loved all sports but golf was his favourite.
He was a legend in the textile world where he made his career ..
DAD ALONG WITH HIS WIFE HELPED OTHERS THROUGH THE WORD OF BILL W. FOR OVER FOURTY YEARS .
Dad met our Mom in the early 50’s and promised to take her on a date and he did , he took her out in his ‘54 Ford – 60 years later and always together that TURNED OUT TO BE some ride …dad was forever grateful to have met his wife who stood by his side till his last day ..
Dad we love you so much you will be sorely missed …R.I.P
