William Kenneth McMann, known to all of us as Bill, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa or Uncle was born on June 1, 1937 in Provost, Alberta to Oscar and Lena McMann.
Bill passed away peacefully, at home with his family nearby, on October 28, 2018 at the age of 81 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Irene; Son, Sam (Rita) McMann and their children, Ty (Kyla Kohlman) and Sara (Eric Therrien); Daughter, Sandra (Brian) Olson and their children, Derek (Cassy Dorval) and their daughter Brielle Olson and Kirk (Brittany Dubuc); as well as several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his infant daughter, Brenda Marie McMann.
Bill was a simple man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known of him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Chauvin, Alberta with Pastor Darlene Skinner officiating. A Private Family Interment will be held at the La Pearl Cemetery.
