MCGOWAN, Terrence “Terry” Michael Joseph – At Bluewater Health, on Sunday, February 24, 2019, Terry McGowan died at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Anne. Dear father of Trey, Lori and stepson Jason McDowell. Cherished grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Richard (Simonne) McGowan, Barrie, Sherrill (Bud) Walsh, Bracebridge, Marilyn (Ron) Storey, Sudbury, Catherine (Tom) Dominic, Sudbury and Carol McGowan, Niagara Falls. Brother-in-law of Rob (Liz) Cunningham, Pembroke, Dale (Renee) Cunningham, Petrolia and Randy (Sheila) Cunningham, Sarnia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Claremont (1997) & Mildred (2001) and stepson Jeremy McDowell (2015). Terry was born in Creighton Mine, ON and raised in Levack, ON. He worked for Ontario Hydro before moving to Sarnia to work for Bluewater Power. He was a former member of IBEW Local 1802. Terry was an avid sports fan and gardening enthusiast. Cremation has take place. A visitation and service will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, in the late spring, time to be announced.
