Obituary of Sandy Schnare
SCHNARE, Alexander «Sandy» Gilbert – Age 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Barss Corner on Sunday, February 3, 2019.
Sandy grew up in Bridgewater, next to the train station, which gave him a great love of trains. Although Sandy was known as an auto mechanic, his real passion was for working with wood. Sandy enjoyed early retirement by spending time with his family, driving his 4-wheeler, and scrapping metal.
Sandy is forever remembered by his wife and best friend, Gwen Schnare; his daughters, Samantha (Kevin) Grayney, Dayspring; Laura (Robert) Wagner, Oakhill; grandsons, Alexander Wagner and Logan Wagner both of Oakhill; sisters, Linda (Brian) Grennan, Sackville; Peggy (Ronald) Chase, Barss Corner; and his very dear family friend whom he considered a third daughter, Klarrissa Richard.
Sandy was predeceased by his father, Gilbert John Schnare and mother, Barbara Vivian Schnare.
A celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations may be made to the family. Online condolences can be made at sweenysfuneralhome.com.
