Obituary of Salvatore Fanara
Passed away after a courageous battle at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Avina (nee Bellini). Loving dad of Carmela (Steve) MacLean, Tony (Trallee) Fanara, Paolo (Andrea) Fanara, and Gianni (Jillian) Fanara. Loved nonno of 9 grandchildren. Dear brother of Maria Nocera. Special thank you to neighbours for all their care and support.
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Thursday February 21st from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty Street South, Bowmanville, on Friday February 22nd at 11 am. Entombment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Bowmanville Hospital Foundation “CCU” or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
