Rory passed away unexpectedly in Regina on February 24, 2019. He was predeceased by grandparents Catherine and Lloyd Ewenin Sr., Dorothy and William Favel Sr.; uncle Lloyd Ewenin Jr.; Cecilia Dustyhorn Buffalo, a beautiful lady he took as a second mother; and his guru, Stan Lee of marvel comics.
Rory is survived by his wife of 15 years Martha Roper; children Julius, Julianna, Jordyn, Rory Jr., Luke; parents Cheryl Ewenin, Robert Favel Sr.(Terry); siblings Alexis, Rockwell, Katherine (Harley), Robin (Amber), Annabella (Jesse), Robert Jr. (Skyla), Madison (Spencer); moshom Ronald Ewenin Sr.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Traditional wake will be held held in the new school gym of Kawacatoose First Nation on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 4 pm. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 12 noon in the same location.
