It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis Ann Marie Hartford in St. Stephen, NB on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home.
Born in St. Stephen, NB., daughter of the late Fred and Edna (Sopiel) Hartford.
Phyllis is survived by her children: Steven, Brian (Cindy), Sandra MacLean & Dianne Jackson. Her grandsons: Scott (Judy) and Kaileb, granddaughter: Natasia (Zack), great- granddaughters: Meagan, Lyrik and Kellyn, two step- great-grandchildren, Bradley and Jennifer. daughter-in-law: Heather McCulloch, sisters: Rita Fraser & Florence Smith, brother: Harold Hartford, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Hartford Common Law husband: Lester Noel , brothers: Arthur, Junior, Joseph and George, sisters: Annie and Martha.
Phyllis was a member of the Passamaquoddy Tribe. Also sat on council for «Peskotomuhkati» for many years.
Phyllis will always be remembered as feisty, stubborn, kind and strong woman. She has been and always will be an inspiration to her family.
In keeping with Phyllis’ wishes there will be no funeral or visitation held.
For those who wish, donations in Phyllis’ memory may be made to Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
