Young, Mary Lousie
Mary Lousie Young passed away gently on February 11, 2019 in her 82nd year at Dearness Nursing home in London Ontario. Mary Lou is predeceased by her parents Edward and Alfreda Vivian, and her husband Blair Young. She leaves behind her children Bradley Young and Shelley Delaney. She will be missed by her grandchildren Rudy and Victoria Delaney.
Mary Lou was a dedicated employee of Dow Chemical Canada and was also known to be very active with the Dow Social Committee. She enjoyed fantastic plays, trips to wonderland and waterpark adventures with her family. A loving mother and doting grandmother, she will fondly be remembered for her unbridled enthusiasm for life which touched everyone she met. She was a fabulous painter, expert seamstress, fantastic cook and gardener. Mary Lou’s talented genes have been passed on to her children and grandchildren. Her smile was big, her strength and courage were fierce, and her light will forever shine bright.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the summer. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario.
